Generally the
songs work best when done in 1-3 sets througout the
evening where there is up to 3 songs per set. That way the appropriate
costume changes can be made (certain songs require head veils)
and the sets are not too long that the audience gets bored.
It also depends how you want to spread
out the show over the course of the evening.
Special request songs that are not on the song list
are
accepted but will require minimum 4 weeks notice and an additional charge for the new
choreography.
Amira's choreographies are movie quality and take many hours to put
together especially since Hindi is not Amira's
first language. :-) But you can be assured the final dance will be a
stunning visual spectacle of Bollywood at its finest!
Here is a demo video that shows a small sampling of Amira's many performances.

MY DANCERS:
For some
performances I work with my female dance partners Vanja or Sharada. We can do a
combination of solos
duets or trios including our most requested duet...Choli Ke Peeche Kya Hai.
For the male roles, such as the male lead in Beedi Jalailee or Munni Badnaam Hui,
I perform with Sterling. I am currently auditioning and training more dancers for group performances.
Vanja is Bosnian with beautiful blonde hair and slender proportions.
Sharada is of Scottish Mexican descent and has beautiful waist length hair.
Sterling has done professional dancing since 1998,
specializing in authentic styles, including performing Lindy Hop at Disney events and for
professional sports half-time shows (Orlando Magic).
He has expanded his repertoire over the years to include many other authentic dances
and now is happy to include Bollywood and Bhangra.
SOME GROUP COSTUMES:
MY INSPIRATIONS.....
