This is the second costume I handmade myself (the first being
Shiva).
I really liked how Barbara Luna played the character in this original
series episode. She had a mysterious
exotic beauty to her and of course a great body! I also really liked
the costume because I love retro 60's styles and it
was fun creating the beehive for the hair and wearing the wild gold
hoop earrings. And of course I can easily
bellydance in a costume like this... but just for fun... I don't have
any routine or anything. And boy was it ever
a big hit at its debut at Vulkon July 2008! I must say it was as big of
a reaction I got as when I first
wore
Slave
Leia. Even Aron Eisenberg (Nog, DS9) and Cirroc Lofton (Jake,
DS9) were impressed!
Well, here is the full costume on the doll and on me! I'm such a doll!
:-P
And now the fun really begins!
Amira was dancing away on the floor when she noticed Aron and Cirroc watching.
They called her over and a great time was had by all!

Amira and Aron enjoyed a wonderful time in the Klingon Bar, posing in the Klingon command
chair and enjoying a long conversation about quantum physics (Amira has a BS in physics) :-)
